New Convention Council members

The Convention Council of the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention will welcome seven new members in 2010.

Messengers at the ASBC annual meeting adopted the nominating committee report filling positions on the Convention Council. Elected to new three-year terms were Jim McClurkan, Catalina Association, pastor of Sabino Road, Tucson; Stan Baker, Central, member of North Phoenix, Phoenix; Jerry Bowling, Central, pastor of Hillside, Phoenix; Lori Pruit, Gila Valley, member of Trinity, Casa Grande.

Elected to terms expiring in 2012 were George Barnes, Valley Rim, pastor of Hi-Way, Mesa; Rich Crecelius, Estrella, pastor of New Life, Phoenix; and Chad Garrison, River Valley, pastor of Calvary, Lake Havasu City.

Elected to second three-year terms were Randy Hafner, Grand Canyon, pastor of Village Park, Sedona; James Harms, Cochise, pastor of First Baptist, Sierra Vista; Charlotte Campsen, Fourcorners, member of Many Farms, Many Farms; Mark Flint, Yuma, member of Stone Ridge, Yuma; and Theresa Walton, Yavapai, music minister, Robert Road, Prescott Valley.
