Be part of a "Super" opportunity to touch the world
The world is coming to Arizona for the Super Bowl in February 2008. Your church, group, or even you as an individual can use this as a ministry and evangelism opportunity.
1. Work as a volunteer. To volunteer with the Arizona Super Bowl XLII Host Committee as a church, group, or individual, go to www.azsuperbowl.com and complete the volunteer form.
2. Plan an event. Plan a "Super" outreach event for your neighborhood around the time of the "Big Game." The North American Mission Board has ideas for how your church can creatively reach out to its community. Click here.
The Souper Bowl of Caring is a unique service opportunity empowering young people to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities. In 2007, youth in all 50 states generated over $8 million for those in need, and more than 800 Southern Baptist churches experienced the joy of serving God by serving others. It's as simple as holding soup pots at church doors following worship on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3, 2008, and asking worshipers to drop in a dollar to help people who are hungry. Souper Bowl of Caring provides all the materials you need to plan and promote your event. Register today at www.souperbowl.org!
