Scholarships are available to encourage and assist church-related vocational ministry students in fulfilling their Biblical calling by pursuing an undergraduate degree at a qualifying college or university.

A qualifying college or university is an accredited institution whose accreditation will enable a graduate to attend masters level training at one of our Southern Baptist seminaries or a similar institution.

RECIPIENTS
Students pursuing Southern Baptist Convention ministry-related vocations, e.g. pastors, ministers of education, ministers of music, ministers of youth, missionaries related to Southern Baptist denominational missions agencies, vocational workers with Southern Baptist missions educational agencies. Those applicants who already have an undergraduate degree, in any field, will be ineligible for this scholarship.

DEFINITION
For purposes of this program, students being considered for scholarships are defined as persons who have been called into Christian ministry as a church-related vocation. This would also include those who plan to serve in mission service and denominational ministry.
