Arizona is a state of contrasts.

We experience the heat of the desert in Phoenix and Tucson, and the cool pines of Flagstaff and the White Mountains. We boast of our pioneer spirit, and yet Arizona is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States.

Of the roughly 6 million people who reside in Arizona, less than 10 percent have any evangelical affiliation.

The ministries of the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention are organized around the belief that healthy leaders influence healthy churches to evangelize and plant churches. By providing training and resources in evangelism, church planting and church ministries -- including church programs and leadership -- we serve Arizona Southern Baptist churches as they seek to fulfill the Great Commission.
